The Five Things You Can Do With Money

One of my mentors, Ron Blue, teaches that there are only five things you can do with money:

  1. You can use it to live. This includes spending on food, clothing, shelter, entertainment, transportation, housing, etc.
  2. You can give money away. This might be to your church, charities, your kids, grandkids, etc.
  3. You can grow your money so that you have more to live on and give away later.
  4. You can owe money. This includes debt and taxes.

So, essentially:

  • Live.
  • Give.
  • Grow.
  • Owe (x2: debt and taxes).

My goal is to help Christians manage their money so they have more to live on and to give.
